Senior Blessing

High school graduation is a time of excitement and celebration! As one of our Skipping Stones, each of our seniors is invited to attend a special celebration of their achievement in graduation from High School. Graduates wear their cap and gowns for worship on the morning of the blessing. They’ll read the prayers and lessons, and lead special music. During worship, the congregation will bless them as they move into this new phase in their lives.

CONFIRMATION FOR GRADES 6-8

During three years of Confirmation, middle school youth begin their own faith journey—learning what it means to be a Christian, distinctions of being Lutheran, and how to live out their faith.

Students choose Wednesday or Sunday track for regular Confirmation meetings. We generally have around 200-250 people on Wednesday nights and 20-30 on Sunday mornings. Learn more about Skipping Stones HERE.

Registration opens this Fall!

CONFIRMATION FOR GRADE 9

During the fall of 9th grade, students who intend to affirm their faith will choose a track to walk through “what’s next” in their faith journey. Confirmation services are held during worship services on Reformation Weekend each Fall. Registration opens this Summer!

MIDDLE SCHOOL VIBE & THRIVE

This weekend leadership training program for high school students teaches interpersonal skills to become a better listener, more adept conversationalist, and improve observation skills.

If you become certified in Peer Ministry, you can lead a Confirmation small group, be a leader at Camp Wapo, get a discount on registering for events, get access to our Mahtomedi High School Parking Lot, and best of all: become a better version of yourself!
