BAPTISM

WELCOME TO THE FAMILY OF GOD

You are my beloved child. Mark 1:11

We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. Baptism is a significant experience that formalizes entrance into the Christian church. We believe that in baptism we claim our identity as God’s beloved child and celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit—and it’s the Spirit that gives faith, forgives sins, and grants new and eternal life. We’re then called to join God’s mission in the world and proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ through our words and actions.

This is the first of our six St. Andrew’s Skipping Stones.

ALL AGES WELCOME

We often baptize infants and young children, but baptism is open to all ages—older children, teens, and adults who have not yet been baptized. In January, we remember the baptism of Jesus and have a special day to celebrate the baptism of adults and those above infant age.

For all questions, contact our Baptism Ministry Coordinator.

GETTING STARTED

Participate in a one-hour workshop followed by a celebration of your baptism during a worship service. (Baptisms are performed during most regular services). The workshop reviews what baptism is, what it means for you and/or your child, tips for raising a family of faith, and what the day of baptism will look like.

To start the process for baptism, fill out the form below. You’ll select one of the workshop options and list service time and date preferences for the baptism.

For all questions, contact our Baptism Ministry Coordinator.

Due to the Super Bowl, FOX9+ won't be airing St. Andrew's services Sunday, February 9.
