A CONVERSATION WITH WILLIAM KENT KRUEGER

ST. ANDREW’S PRESENTS: WHERE FAITH & LIFE INTERSECT

April 12 @ 1:00 pm 2:45 pm

Hear Pastor Mike Carlson and beloved Minnesota author William Kent Krueger talk about why evil exists in a world created by a benevolent God. The discussion will draw illustrations from two of Krueger’s books—This Tender Land, and Ordinary Grace. Krueger writes a mystery series set in the north woods of Minnesota. His protagonist is Cork O’Connor, the former sheriff of Tamarack County and a man of mixed heritage—part Irish and part Ojibwe. His work has received several awards, and his last thirteen novels were all New York Times bestsellers!

Bring a favorite book from home or purchase Ordinary Grace or This Tender Land ($20.58/book) at the event and have books signed by the author. Books will be sold by Lake Country Booksellers, an independently owned local bookstore that will also provide the option to order other Krueger books during the event. Lake Country Booksellers is at 4766 Washington Ave, White Bear Lake, MN 55110; phone number 651.426.0918. Event is FREE, no RSVP required. Refreshments will be served!
