Changing the Way We Talk With One Another
DR. EYDIE DYKE-SHYPULSKI AND DR. MICHELLE STEFFENHAGEN
Using practical tools we’ll explore how to dialogue across differences and consider what it might look like to choose relationship over rightness. By focusing on self-awareness and understanding others, we can transform the way we interact with each other.
Our premiere adult education ministry includes inspiring weekly LIFE Talks and small group connections through LIFE Groups. The goal of LIFEU is to inspire you to “Live In Faith Everyday” (LIFE) rooted in the words of Jesus from John 10:10: “I came that they may have LIFE, and have it abundantly.” This year we seek to “Flourish Together,” wrestling with timely and relevant issues with those who know what it takes to flourish together in our relationships and communities.
LIFE Talks Dates & Topics:
October 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30 • Civility in Difficult Times
November 6, 13 & 20 • Nourish to Flourish
January 8, 15, 22 & 29 • Christianity in Context
