Growing Healthy Relationships

Close, intimate relationships (such as a spouse or significant other, family member, good friend, or neighbor) are increasingly important as we desire a sense of belonging and community in a fractured world. They can also require an investment of time and energy. We’ll explore how to start, tend to, and end our most significant relationships—and how our faith is lived out in and through these personal connections.
Our premiere adult education ministry includes inspiring weekly LIFE Talks and small group connections through LIFE Groups. The goal of LIFEU is to inspire you to “Live In Faith Everyday” (LIFE) rooted in the words of Jesus from John 10:10: “I came that they may have LIFE, and have it abundantly.” This year we seek to “Flourish Together,” wrestling with timely and relevant issues with those who know what it takes to flourish together in our relationships and communities.

JEFF AND MARY SANDERS draw upon more than 25 years of traveling and teaching on growing healthy relationships. Both are licensed marriage and family therapists with extensive backgrounds in private practice counseling, as well as leading trainings and workshops on mental health topics, spirituality, and faith. Mary and Jeff are both graduates of Bethel Seminary.
