Christianity Under Attack
REV. GILO AGWA
The Anuak community, comprised of indigenous residents in Ethiopia, Sudan, and refugees living across the globe, hold fast to their faith traditions, language, and culture, even while continuously being uprooted and displaced. Pastor Gilo Agwa shares his experience as a pastor in Ethiopia and with his family and church community now in the United States.
Our premiere adult education ministry includes inspiring weekly LIFE Talks and small group connections through LIFE Groups. The goal of LIFEU is to inspire you to “Live In Faith Everyday” (LIFE) rooted in the words of Jesus from John 10:10: “I came that they may have LIFE, and have it abundantly.” This year we seek to “Flourish Together,” wrestling with timely and relevant issues with those who know what it takes to flourish together in our relationships and communities.
LIFE Talks Dates & Topics:
October 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30 • Civility in Difficult Times
November 6, 13 & 20 • Nourish to Flourish
January 8, 15, 22 & 29 • Christianity in Context
