Care

A Community of Support

Life can be challenging at times, but you don’t have to go through struggles alone. The Pastors and Care Lay Ministry team welcome opportunities to reach out and share Christ’s love with people in need of support. In addition to a caring ministry team, we offer prayer and referrals to licensed counselors and resource centers.

If you would like to speak with an on call pastor, please call 651.762.9137.

Congregation members and friends are encouraged to contact our pastoral care team so we can offer spiritual support and prayer. If you or someone you know would like to be connected to our visitation ministry, whether it’s at home, the hospital, or a care facility, please let us know.

Funeral Livestream

The funeral service for Alma Cardinal will be livestreamed here at 11:30am, Saturday, January 11.

BAPTISMS

Baptism is a significant experience that formalizes entrance into the Christian church. We believe that in baptism we claim our identity as God’s beloved child and celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit. Baptism is open to all ages – including older children, teens, and adults who haven’t yet been baptized. All are welcome!

WEDDINGS

Congratulations! You’re engaged. Marriage is one of life’s most rewarding and challenging relationships and we want every couple who gets married at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church to be set up for success. We welcome both members and non-members to hold weddings at St. Andrew’s. Contact Tami Zappa for more information.

FUNERALS

We welcome any family that is seeking a Christian service for their loved one–membership at St. Andrew’s is not required. Our staff is experienced and compassionate and can guide you through the basics of planning a service.
