REV. MICHAEL JORDAN

Rev. Michael Jordan served as Associate Pastor at Trinity Lutheran Church in Yankton, SD, where he was passionate about engaging, equipping, and empowering others to reflect the light and love of Christ in their daily lives. With a Master of Divinity from Luther Seminary and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Minnesota, Pastor Michael combines his enthusiasm for ministry with a detail-oriented approach to leadership. He has extensive experience in youth and family ministry, having grown Trinity’s youth program from fewer than 10 participants to over 30 weekly attendees. His ministry focuses on building intentional “community” centered on Christ, fostering relationships, and equipping leaders to serve with confidence and purpose.

Pastor Michael is known for his energy, creativity, and commitment to teaching and pastoral care. He has developed Bible studies, led mission trips, and created innovative worship experiences, including a modern worship service that appeals to all generations. He is deeply committed to serving others, whether through one-on-one pastoral care, equipping youth and families to grow in faith, or collaborating with teams to fulfill God’s mission. Pastor Michael’s leadership reflects his belief that faith is practiced every day, everywhere, and in every relationship, and he strives to inspire others to live out their unique gifts in service to God and neighbor.
