Suggested donation is $4-6 for children (ages 3 and up) and $6-8 for adults. Cash\, check\, debit/credit cards\, and Apple Pay are accepted. VOLUNTEER! We can use your help! Join our volunteer teams that prepare the meals on Tuesdays and set up\, serve\, and clean up on Wednesdays. It’s a fun way to be part of our church family while giving back. SUMMARY:FIRST COMMUNION SKIPPING STONE WORKSHOP AND CELEBRATION
DESCRIPTION:Our Skipping Stones ministry celebrates six significant moments in a child’s journey of life and faith\, starting with baptism and continuing through high school graduation. Just as stones skip across water creating ripples at various points\, our young people experience God’s grace breaking into their lives at different times and places. First Communion instruction is provided as an opportunity for children to learn more about Holy Communion and prepare them to receive it. Students in Grades 1-5 participate in a workshop with at least one parent. Then their First Communion is acknowledged and blessed during a worship service. Two opportunities are provided each year—in the fall and in the spring (during Holy Week).

SUMMARY:YOUNG ADULT MEET UP
DESCRIPTION:Wednesday dinners are starting up again this fall\, so let’s share a meal! September 11\, 18 & 25\, look for the reserved “20s & 30s Ministry” table\, where we can gather to eat and connect from 5-6:15pm each week. Stick around for our Flourish Together Volunteer Training\, which begins at 6:30pm each of those nights. Peer Ministry Founder Lyle Griner will lead sessions focused on listening\, conversation\, and group facilitation—skills all of us can use in our jobs\, as we volunteer\, and as we create community wherever we go. Cost of dinner is “pay-as-you’re able\,” with a suggested donation of $6-8 for adults.
