The discussion will draw illustrations from two of Krueger’s books—This Tender Land\, and Ordinary Grace. Krueger writes a mystery series set in the north woods of Minnesota. His protagonist is Cork O’Connor\, the former sheriff of Tamarack County and a man of mixed heritage—part Irish and part Ojibwe. SUMMARY:FIRST COMMUNION SKIPPING STONE WORKSHOP & CELEBRATION - SPRING 2025
DESCRIPTION:Our Skipping Stones ministry celebrates six significant moments in a child’s journey of life and faith\, starting with baptism and continuing through high school graduation. Just as stones skip across water creating ripples at various points\, our young people experience God’s grace breaking into their lives at different times and places. First Communion instruction is provided as an opportunity for children to learn more about Holy Communion and prepare them to receive it. Students in Grades 1-5 participate in a workshop with at least one parent. Then their First Communion is acknowledged and blessed during a worship service. Two opportunities are provided each year—in the fall and in the spring (Maundy Thursday).  \n\n\n\nAn online option is available on Thursday\, April 10 at 6pm.
