On Earth As In Heaven
(St. Andrew’s will not be providing an in-person VBS this summer.)
Join our upbeat morning video broadcast with music, Bible stories, skits, and more! We’ll dive into five daily themes to experience the Lord’s Prayer and see connections between this important prayer and service to the world. Families can continue exploring through the day with a menu of additional learning activities.
Morning broadcast: Each morning at 10 a.m. we will broadcast a 30-40 minute video with music and songs, Bible story time, global connections, and creative activities. We welcome back Elena Cressy as our VBS song leader, Josh Carlson with skits, and Sue Lennartson as our Bible storyteller. We’ll also have a Pastor of the Day to welcome and bless our children.
Join us each day at saintandrews.churchonline.org (the same site used for St. Andrew’s worship services). You can also sign in to be part of the interactive chat led by our children’s ministry leaders.
The video will also be available on-demand so you can watch it any time of day that best fits your family’s schedule.
Extended learning: Each day we will post additional activities your family can do together at home, such as a craft project, recipe, service experience, or additional music or videos. Links will be posted on our website and provided in the daily email update.
Age: The VBS program is designed with elementary children (completed grades K-5) in mind. Younger and older siblings are welcome to participate.
Parent/adult involvement: We assume that a parent, guardian, grandparent, adult caregiver, or older sibling (teenager or above) is present and engaged with children during the daily morning broadcast and to help with the extended learning activities. Our VBS program has always involved adults and high schoolers interacting with children to help bring learning to life!
Cost: There is NO COST to participate in VBS this year.
Registration: We invite your family to pre-register so we can communicate details prior to and during VBS week. Register online now!
Invite others: We encourage you to invite your neighbors, friends, and cousins to join, where ever they are in the world! Share our VBS webpage (www.saintandrews.org/vbs) with all the details. As public health recommendations allow, you might consider inviting extended family or neighbors to join you — in your home, on the porch, or around an outdoor table.
