DESCRIPTION:Stefan Engels will highlight the music of 20th-century German composer Sigfrid Karg-Elert in a 2-day celebration of his vast works\, Saturday\, April 25 and Sunday\, April 26. The workshop will be a deep dive into the historical and musical connections of Karg-Elert’s work. As an advocate\, champion\, and specialist in the German composer\, Engels’ program will span the vast range of musical personality expressed by this renowned late-Romantic German composer and organist. Co-sponsored by the Twin Cities Chapter of the American Guild of Organists.
