DESCRIPTION:Thursday at 7:00 p.m. \n\n\n\nThe one-hour interactive workshop via Zoom covers what baptism is\, what it means for you and/or your child\, tips for raising a family of faith\, and what the day of baptism will look like. \n\n\n\nThe class will cover: What baptism means in the Lutheran tradition\, how to prepare for your child’s baptism\, what to expect on the day of their baptism\, godparents and how to select them\, nurturing faith at home beyond your child’s baptism day\, and more! You’ll have the opportunity to connect with other St. Andrew’s families\, and have any of your remaining questions about baptism answered. \n\n\n\nPlease gather these items and have them nearby at the Zoom meeting: A “faith object” (for show-and-tell)— something in your home that reminds you of your faith or helps you practice your faith\, a small bowl of water (for a blessing)\, and a Bible (you can Google for our readings if you don’t have a Bible available). \n\n\n\nYour children are more than welcome to join us during the meeting\, but they are not required to be present. We understand that some of you will need to move on-and-off-screen to tend to the needs of your little ones during our time together. We are so grateful for this opportunity to gather in whatever way is best for your family! \n\n\n\nPlease note\, a Zoom link will be emailed to you 2-3 days before the workshop.

DESCRIPTION:Winter/Spring Session 2024 \n\n\n\nSt. Andrew’s Lutheran Church is offering an in-person\, facilitated support group for those who are experiencing the loss of loved ones. The hope for the group is that members will have an opportunity to share\, listen\, and support each other toward healing. The group will be facilitated by a St. Andrew’s pastor or Care Lay Minister. Meetings will be held in St. Andrew’s Great Hall building in the Dot Room – Thursday evenings from 4:30-6:00 p.m. – from Feb. 1 through Mar. 28\, 2024. You can join the group at any time during the 8 week session. There is no cost to attend. To learn more about the group please contact Lisa Grundtner.

St. Andrew’s Youth Choir (6-12) Director: Andy Haase Rehearsal Day/Time/Location: Wednesdays\, 5:30-6:15 p.m.\, Room B02 This group is designed for the active student who loves to sing a variety of exciting music from contemporary to traditional. This group typically sings once per month and at various festival Sundays including Christmas and Easter. Small groups from this choir will also sing at various church services.

We serve a delicious home-cooked meal for children\, adults\, and families participating in Wednesday programs (including kids and adult choirs\, Confirmation\, and LIFEU) and anyone looking for a break from cooking. Dinner is available 4:45-6:15 p.m. in the Sanctuary Fellowship Hall. Cost is $7 per person with a $25 family maximum. Kids 3 and under eat free. Cash\, check\, debit/credit cards\, and Apple Pay accepted. We could use your help! Join our volunteer teams that prepare the meal\, setup and serve\, or clean up.
