SUMMARY:SUMMER STRETCH 2024
DESCRIPTION:Summer Stretch is back again this July! It is a time for Middle Schoolers to do some good service work\, and then have a fun-filled adventure in the afternoon. We’ll hold four sessions on Tuesdays – July 9\, 16\, 23\, and 30. All with service in the morning\, a bring your own bag lunch\, and a fun event in the afternoon.  Invite your friends! This is a great way to get others involved. Small group and large group service mornings will support a variety of local charities and organizations. Our afternoon adventure events will include three of the following: Como Park\, movie\, Trollhaugen Ropes Course\, Pinz\, Bunker Beach Water Park\, and Lake Elmo Park Reserve. (Final weekly adventures will be determined by weather and our registration numbers.) We will wrap up with an all-day adventure at Valley Fair on July 30.  \n\n\n\nMiddle School Summer Stretch Dates and schedule:July 9\, July 16\, July 23\, July 30 (register for at least two sessions or for all four or for any combination in between) \n\n\n\n9am to 4pm \n\n\n\nAges/Grades: For youth completed Grades 6-8. \n\n\n\nCost: $50 per person per trip. Financial assistance is available for additional support. For a no questions asked scholarship\, enter “WAIVE” for a 100% waiver\, or “HALF” for a 50% waiver in the code box on the registration form.  \n\n\n\nRegistration: Click “REGISTER HERE” to begin the registration process. DESCRIPTION:Completed Grades 9-12REGISTRATION HAS CLOSED \n\n\n\nImmerse yourself in God’s Creation for an amazing five-day adventure\, including three days in the Boundary Waters of northern Minnesota! \n\n\n\nHop in a van and head “up north\,” settling in at Wilderness Canoe Base near Grand Marais. The next morning\, groups will head out into the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCA) for three days of challenging adventure\, gorgeous scenery\, and fun\, led by a trained canoe guide. Groups will return to camp for a full day of rest\, worship\, and sharing before heading back home the following morning. It’s an experience like no other!

We needs lots of volunteers to make this happening including our Middle School helper program called God Squad in addition to many high school and adult volunteers.
