DESCRIPTION:Join the White Bear Lake community’s 2026 MLK Day free event for a livestream of the Twin Cities MLK Breakfast with Soledad O’Brien\, Freeman Hrabowski III\, and Sounds of Blackness. There will be a panel and small group discussions\, followed by refreshments/music. Hear from a panel of WBL leaders and students: chief of police\, High School and Middle School principals\, instructional coach\, Ramsey County commissioner assistant\, and students from the Black Student Union. Please note this event is being held at White Bear Lake High School (main entrance). \n\n\n\nThere will be an opportunity to support UNCF and the WBL High School’s HBCU college tour. At this pop-up event on Sunday\, January 25 in the Sanctuary and Great Hall\, you’ll learn more about low-waste habits and dangers of microplastics\, and have an opportunity to join St. Andrew’s Plastic-Free Challenge team. The Plastic-Free Challenge is hosted by Washington\, Ramsey\, and Hennepin Counties during February.
