Throughout this special fundraising event\, we’ll focus on the power of eviction prevention and the hope and stability it brings to families in our community. This dinner event will feature a program followed by a chance to bid on items/experiences in a live auction. There will be other opportunities to donate to the CRC as well. SUMMARY:CRC THANKSGIVING FOOD GIVEAWAY
DESCRIPTION:Each year St. Andrew’s Community Resource Center (CRC) hosts a Thanksgiving food giveaway for local families in need. We provide turkey and all the fixings for a bountiful meal. Last year we gave Thanksgiving meals to approximately 150 families who had received services from the CRC\, the Mahtomedi Food Shelf\, the North St. Paul Food Shelf\, and families referred by the Mahtomedi School District social worker. Volunteers are needed on Wednesday\, November 20 to help with set-up. Volunteers are also needed on Thursday\, November 21 from 8:30am-4pm to help distribute food to our guests. DESCRIPTION:By donating backpacks or athletic shoes\, you’ll support the school-age kids coming to the CRC with their families. Take a tag off the giving trees in the Narthex or Atrium July 27/28\, August 3/4\, or 10/11\, and drop purchased items in common area bins by August 18. You may also drop off donations at CRC Door 6\, Monday through Thursday\, from 8am-3pm. Adults\, there’s also an opportunity to volunteer to set up store on August 19\, or “shop” with the students on August 20 or 21. Sign up below!
