The second week provides an overview of core issues at the heart of the conflict\, including territorial disputes\, security concerns\, refugee rights\, and Jerusalem and status of settlements. The conversation will address challenges Christians face in understanding the conflict and strategies for fostering understanding and respect for both Israeli and Palestinian narratives— all in an effort to bring about peace and healing in our world. \n\n\n\nOur premiere adult education ministry includes inspiring weekly LIFE Talks and small group connections through LIFE Groups. During his tenure in Jerusalem\, the YMCA was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize to recognize their peace-building efforts in the Middle East.

She is an award-winning vocalist and songwriter and has shared her soulful blend of gospel and jazz music in hundreds of venues across the United States. She has produced six independent recordings.

DESCRIPTION:LIVING IN FAITH EVERYDAY \n\n\n\nWELCOME TO LIFEU! \n\n\n\nLIFEU is our premiere adult education ministry that includes inspiring weekly LIFE Talks and small group connections through LIFE Groups. The goal of LIFEU is to inspire you to “Live In Faith Everyday” (LIFE) rooted in the words of Jesus from John 10:10: “I came that they may have life\, and have it abundantly.” \n\n\n\nThis year’s LIFEU topics will speak into our congregation’s year-long theme\, “Ignite\,” as we discover spiritual practices that will spark and fuel our ability to Live In Faith Everyday. \n\n\n\nLIFE TALKS \n\n\n\nOur speaker series gathers Wednesday evenings in the Sanctuary Fellowship Hall at 6:30pm All are welcome — no registration is required. Each month’s theme is based on one of our four spiritual practices that will ignite our LIFE together. DESCRIPTION:Spring 2024 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLIFE Groups provide opportunities to dive deeper into the conversation in a more intimate setting\, built around our weekly Wednesday LIFE Talks. They invite group members into a safe community to be vulnerable\, transparent\, and authentic – come as you are! LIFE Groups are an intentional\, meaningful way to connect with one another and\, ultimately\, to our greater church family as you share in challenging conversation\, personal sharing\, laughter\, and prayer. LIFE Groups return in April and meet each week a LIFE Talk is held. Most groups meet together on Wednesdays at 7:15 p.m.\, immediately following the LIFE Talk. Other meeting times might be available based on facilitator schedules.
