During his tenure in Jerusalem\, the YMCA was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize to recognize their peace-building efforts in the Middle East.

EYDIE DYKE-SHYPULSKIPastor Mike and Dr. Eydie Dyke-Shypulski continue the conversation from last week\, transforming the way we interact with each other. \n\n\n\nOur premiere adult education ministry includes inspiring weekly LIFE Talks and small group connections through LIFE Groups. MICHAEL CARLSON has been St. Andrew’s Lead Pastor since 2014. He attended the University of Minnesota and completed a MDivat Wartburg Theological Seminary. Prior to St. Andrew’s\, he served several congregations in northern Minnesota and the Twin Cities as a youth minister and pastor. \n\n\n\nDR. EYDIE DYKE-SHYPULSKI is a national and international presenter\, clinical social worker\, and chair of the Social Work Department at Bethel University. She has a deep commitment to justice informed social work practice and advancing equity inclusion in the field. She holds a Master of Social Work from St. Louis University and DMin from Bethel Seminary.

DESCRIPTION:LIFE Groups\, led by a trained facilitator\, are small group experiences built around our weekly Wednesday LIFE Talks. They provide opportunities to dive deeper into the topic in an intentional and meaningful way. LIFE Groups connect you with one another and\, ultimately\, to our greater church family as you share in challenging conversations\, sharing\, laughter\, and prayer.  \n\n\n\nMost LIFE Groups meet Wednesday evenings\, 7:15-8pm\, immediately following the LIFE Talks\, though other days and daytime options are available. Joining a LIFE Group for the first time? Welcome! Be sure to register (link below) and someone will contact you with more information. Returning to a LIFE Group?
