DESCRIPTION:Preschool Bibles are one of St. Andrew’s Skipping Stones for children and youth. As preschoolers enter their first year of Sunday School\, we recognize the beginning of their Christian education journey by presenting them with a children’s story Bible. As they are introduced to God’s Word\, they learn the foundational stories of faith\, of God’s love for them and all people\, and the life and teachings of Jesus. Children participate in a 45-minute parent/child workshop to learn more about their new Bible. Then we will bless the Bibles and families in our next All-In worship service. Workshop options are January 17 or 21. The Celebrations in the service are January 31 or February 1.

DESCRIPTION:The one-hour interactive workshop via Zoom covers what baptism is\, what it means for you and/or your child\, tips for raising a family of faith\, and what the day of baptism will look like. \n\n\n\nThe class will cover: What baptism means in the Lutheran tradition\, how to prepare for your child’s baptism\, what to expect on the day of their baptism\, godparents and how to select them\, nurturing faith at home beyond your child’s baptism day\, and more! You’ll have the opportunity to connect with other St. Andrew’s families\, and have any of your remaining questions about baptism answered. \n\n\n\nPlease gather these items and have them nearby at the Zoom meeting: A “faith object” (for show-and-tell)— something in your home that reminds you of your faith or helps you practice your faith\, a small bowl of water (for a blessing)\, and a Bible (you can Google for our readings if you don’t have a Bible available). \n\n\n\nYour children are more than welcome to join us during the meeting\, but they are not required to be present. We understand that some of you will need to move on-and-off-screen to tend to the needs of your little ones during our time together. DESCRIPTION:The Chosen has quickly become one of the most popular historical dramas about the life and teachings of Jesus. Each week we will discuss an episode from Season 2. Pastor Amy will summarize the episode you watched at home that week\, and then lead a discussion about what you’ve seen and the Bible stories it portrayed. How close is the show to scripture? DESCRIPTION:At this open house held in St. Andrew’s Sanctuary building (900 Stillwater Road\, Door 1\, Room 202)\, you’ll learn the distinctives of St. Andrew’s Preschool that will set your child up for success. Hear the benefits of a Christ-centered preschool education\, discuss the easy enrollment process with administrators\, and meet teachers and other families with young children.Full-Day is a year-round\, extended day program for 16-month through Pre-K\, and is offered 2 to 5 full days each week. The Half-Day program is in session September through May. This program is for 3-5-year-olds\, and is offered Tuesday/Thursday (3 & 4 year olds)\, and Monday/Wednesday/Friday (4 & 5 year olds).
