SUMMARY:CANCER CONNECT - WINTER/SPRING 2024
DESCRIPTION:If you are a cancer survivor\, caregiver\, or have a loved-one with cancer\, we welcome you to join us for fellowship. This group will be facilitated by Micki Smith\, a member of our congregation who has travelled a cancer journey of her own. In 2016 Micki was diagnosed with Stage 3B Appendiceal Cancer and subsequently went through surgery and extensive chemotherapy. She is very grateful to be alive today. During her journey\, Micki was able to connect with someone else with cancer. Together they walked with Christ\, and were able to provide each other much needed comfort and support. In Micki’s own words “God nudged me to help connect with others confronted with cancer–both survivors and caregivers. My desire is to offer fellowship which will be centered around God’s love and support for us.”

Come to have your cup filled with love\, prayer and the Holy Spirit\, and enjoy a fresh framework for the experience of giving care. Share resources and develop new friendships in supportive healing space. \n\n\n\nMeeting on 2/20/24\, 3/19/24\, 4/16/24\, 5/21/24 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM in the Great Hall Dot Room.
