Children experience music through playing instruments such as xylophones, glockenspiels, metallophones, and rhythm instruments. The Orff program for grades 2-7 runs alternately with our vocal choirs so children can participate in an Orff ensemble and sing in a choir. Each group will be scheduled to play in worship services throughout the year, as well as at festival services in the Sanctuary. On an occasional basis, each of the groups will play in the Great Hall. Our hope is that this schedule will encourage children to participate in choirs and Orff ensembles and attend Sunday School.
