Power Lab: Discovering Jesus' Miraculous Power!
The Power Laboratory is at St. Andrew’s June 16 – 20, from 9 a.m. to noon. Kids from 3 ½ years through completed 5th grade are invited to the excitement, songs, and mission opportunities of Vacation Bible School. It is high-energy, faith-filled fun! If you have not already registered, do so now! Registration fee during the month of June is $40 per child, with $80 family maximum.
Music CD
The Power Lab VBS Music CD is available for purchase. Cost is $6 for each CD, available from Terri in the Youth and Sports Center or at any Reception Desk.
Be a VBS Leader!
Middle school and high school youth and lots of adults are needed to teach workshops and lead kids through many fun activities. If you have completed 6th through 8th grade, join the God Squad. Pay a nominal $5 t-shirt fee and join the best week of summer! Youth who are confirmed and adults can lead workshops or small groups of elementary kids. Vacation Bible School is a faith-filled fun week for all ages! If you want to lead, fill out the bottom of the VBS registration form and take your place as a leader at Power Lab! VBS Volunteer Information Brochure are available at all kiosks.
VBS Leader Training
Leader training is essential for a successful Vacation Bible School! All VBS volunteers are required to attend leader training at one of two times: Thursday, June 12, 7-8:30 p.m. OR Saturday, June 14, 9:30 – 11 a.m., both in the Great Hall. Help Create the Power Lab!
A science laboratory is being fashioned in the Great Hall June 2-14. The lab needs to be stocked, and we are looking to borrow all sorts of science equipment – beakers, rope lights, science equipment, chemistry gadgets, etc. Do you have any equipment we could borrow? The equipment will not be used by children, but will only create the backdrop for daily worship. This will be an environment where kids get powered up for the Lord! Baby Power
Join the Vacation Bible School Mission – Baby Power! What is more miraculous than a new-born baby! Vacation Bible School children will support the babies of Hennepin, Ramsey, and Washington counties by collecting baby supplies for families who come to the Tubman Family Alliance for support and counseling. Bring diapers, baby wipes, baby lotion, and pacifiers to Vacation Bible School, and give a powerful start to families who want to be healthy and safe.
