Youth Ministry at St. Andrew’s is…a community of young people who are living lives of love, discipleship and service through the grace of Jesus Christ.

 
We Welcome Erin Morris to our Youth Team

We welcome Diaconal Minister Erin Morris, team leader of our youth ministries.  Erin will lead the Middle School and High School ministries at St. Andrew’s.  Her first Sunday will be Dream Day, Sunday, Sept. 7.
 
Erin Morris hails from a small rural town in Southern Ohio.  She majored in Sociology at Berea College in Berea, Kentucky, and became certified in Youth and Family Ministry through the Center for Youth Ministries at Wartburg Seminary, and has a Masters of Arts with a Concentration in Youth, Culture and Mission from Wartburg Seminary.  In September of 2003 she accepted a call to Bethany Lutheran Church in Denver, Colorado as the Director of Youth Ministries and was consecrated as a Diaconal Minister in the ELCA.  Erin comes to us with a sense of call to work in team ministry, to help a congregation vision how to bring youth and families to an ever deepening relationship with Christ, and a desire to empower all to know and use the gifts given to them by God.
