The Grand Adult program at St. Andrew’s offers an exciting program, the “GRAND Forum,” which nurtures Mind, Body & Spirit.
On-Campus Events
St Andrew’s On-campus events are held on the first or second Tuesday of every month, and include health and wellness activities/screenings from 11 to 11:30 a.m. in the Great Hall Narthex, followed by lunch and a variety of speakers, discussions, and/or teaching time in the Great Hall.
GRAND Forum Tuesday, Sept 14 Jumpin’ Jehosafats: Dixieland, Gospel and all that Jazz The music of the Jumpin’ Jehosafats is equal parts traditional jazz and gospel. The band’s philosophy can be summed up in the words of one of their leaders when he says, “I believe God wants us to have fun. We’re designed to laugh and sing and dance. That’s one of the ways God lifts our spirits. It’s a way of remembering that the world is not on our shoulders, but that God is in charge.”
The Jumpin’ Jehosafats have been together since 1985 and have played over 700 benefit concerts. All proceeds beyond expenses are given to charitable causes.
Come join us as we laugh, sing, and maybe even dance. Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m.; health screenings, healing touch and fellowship beginning at 11 a.m. in the Narthex. Cost is $15. Pre-registration and payment required by Thursday, Sept. 9. Complete an in-house registration envelope or contact Dianne Nash at 651-762-9141.
Off-Campus Events
Off-campus events will be scheduled on a quarterly basis beginning in September. Cost for all off-campus events include transportation. Click here for Event Schedule.
