Grand Adult Trips
We're looking forward to seeing many new faces join us this year. It's always good to get together for the fun and fellowship we enjoy with our Grand Friends. Please consider joining us at our events.
Dead Sea Scrolls Thursday, March 25 Explore the greatest archaeological find of the 20th century – The Dead Sea Scrolls, which include the earliest known texts of the Bible. These 2,000 year-old, authentic text fragments are steeped in scientific, religious, and cultural significance.
We will leave St. Andrew’s at 11:30 a.m. and have lunch at the Science Museum (on your own). At 1 p.m. see “Arabia” at the Omnitheater; from 2-3 p.m. enjoy the Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit and return back to St. Andrew’s around 3:30 p.m. Cost of the day trip is $34 and includes transportation, Omnitheater and exhibit admission. Don’t Hug Me: County Fair Fanny Hill; Eau Claire, WI; Thursday, April 15 Get your taxes done, kick back and relax! Let us do the driving and join us for a trip to Fanny Hill Theater to see “Don’t Hug Me: County Fair.” All new musical fun at Clara and Gunner’s Bunyan Bar in northern Minnesota. Clara enters the Miss Walleye Pageant (winner gets their face carved in butter at the Minnesota State Fair). The fun really starts when Gunner’s twin sister (played by the actor) shows up intent on competing for the Miss Walleye crown. We will leave St. Andrew’s at 10 a.m. and will return at approximately 4:30 p.m. Cost is $60 and includes transportation, lunch and performance. Pre-registration required by Monday, April 12.
