Mission Statement
We will promote care, respect and stewardship for God’s life-sustaining creation in all aspects of life in the St. Andrew’s community, specifically in our worship services, our educational programs, the care of our buildings and grounds and our service to local and global communities.
Tip of the Month
You care for the land and water it; you enrich it abundantly...You drench it's furrows and level it's ridges; you soften it with showers and bless its crops. Psalm 65.9
"It is definitely air conditioning time and with it higher electric bills!" To conserve energy and money, keep your air conditioning set as high as you can and still be comfortable. When you are going to be away for several hours, raise your AC setting by 7 or 8 degrees and then turn it down when you return. This will keep your house from getting too hot and your AC actually works more efficiently when it runs constantly to cool the house than when it cycles frequently. Check out the New Environmental Stewardship Team web page as part of the St. Andrew's website. It will keep you updated on our plans and upcoming meetings.
